Job Description Responsibilities: As a Director on the North America Segment Marketing Team, you and your team will be responsible for retaining and growing the lifetime value of Vistaprint’s highest value customer segments. You will own the customer contact strategy for these high-value customers, responsible for all customer touch points across the business and throughout the different stages of the customers’ lifecycle. You will work cross-functionally to integrate customer behavior, actions, and events into a relevant contact strategy. The selected candidate will be a key player in helping the company evolve from a transactional focused organization to a customer focused organization. This role reports into the Sr. Director, North America Marketing. - Use customer behavior and prior campaign results to develop contact strategies/plans to achieve financial targets and optimize customer lifetime value
- Own P&L associated with our high-value business segments
- Manage team currently made up of 6 people, but with plans to grow
- Team made up of outbound team, lifecycle team, and DSS/Site Strategy specialist
- Channel responsibilities will include email, direct mail/catalog, inbound/outbound phone, box inserts
- Own development and execution of strategy and responsible for communication and reporting of all results
- Work with internal creative team to optimize campaigns targeted at increasing response rate
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred, with a degree in marketing, mathematics, or economics preferred
- 10 + years’ business experience with a strong aptitude and interest in database marketing and/or direct marketing
- Management experience is required – candidates without management experience will not be considered
- A proven track record for strategic thinking and driving results
- Comfortable in a competitive, high-performance, target-driven environment
- Proven track record of building/growing a team a plus
- Experience with customer segmentation strategies a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- E-commerce experience a plus
- Data driven, results oriented, detail oriented and precise
