Job Description As a Systems Engineer you will be a member of the VistaPrint Web Site Technical Operations group, you will be responsible for providing System Administration for the web sites located and the main production facilities in the in Bermuda, Netherlands, Canada and Australia. VistaPrint uses Microsoft Windows for servers, EMC for storage and primarily Cisco for networking.
Support production facilities operating systems and applications. - Conduct performance and capacity management
- Solution development, installation, migration, configuration and disaster recovery
- Provides web server maintenance and support
- Participate in and contribute to the implementation of industry best practices for both Ecommerce and Internal Business Systems application support
- Position requires 15% travel per year to production facilities
- SAS Server support
- Position requires off-hour support as needed
Skills Required: - BS/BA in a computer field
- MCSE 2003
- In depth knowledge of Windows IIS/APACHE, mid tier applications, BEA Weblogic
- 3+ years' experience with TCP/IP and basic network concepts
- 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003/2008
- 3+ years' experience with web operations, systems, network, and Internet
- 3+ years' experience with 3rd party Business Systems Application support
- 3+ years' experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting
- 3+ years' experience with VMware ESX server
- 1+ years' experience with storage area networking
