Responsibilities: - Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC740 (FAS 109) and related financial statement disclosures for federal, state and international jurisdictions
- Document FIN 48 Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes under supervision of Director of Tax (change to Senior Mgr?)
- Prepare quarterly global tax rate forecast and present analytics to Director of Tax and senior management team
- Responsible for the maintenance of SOX404 documentation
- Identify, research, and evaluate tax issues in federal, state, and international tax (US inbound/outbound and local country taxes);
- Develop and document process for R&D credit analysis for federal and state purposes
- Research and interpret new law changes and their impact on our tax positions;
- Assist Director of Tax and Vice President, Corporate Tax with special projects including federal, state, and international tax planning
- Research state nexus issues (sales tax, business activity tax, etc.) and document positions, as needed
- Preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax compliance;
- Advise local controllers and operations teams on technical matters associated with local Sales, GST and VAT taxes;
- Manage tax audits as needed;
Requirements:
• 5-7 years experience with a public company and/or public accounting experience with a Big 4 or similar accounting firm;
• Experience with tax provision work for multi-national companies
• Strong accounting skills - BS Accounting, MST and CPA required
• Strong general tax knowledge of U.S. and state tax law (international experience a plus.)
• Strong research, analytical and communication skills (written and verbal); - Prior experience with tax preparation and/or tax provision software, a plus
• Solid interpersonal skills - able to interact in a team environment within the Company and with outside advisors and auditors;
