Job Description

·        Bachelor’s degree or specialization in Supply Chain Management
·        At least 5 years of experience of procurement in an multinational company or a big organization with a strong focus on price negotiations as well as processes
·        Confidence to work in an environment where instructions are not always provided and own thoughts and ideas are required
·        Effective communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing
·        Ready to be creative and resolve problems on his/her own
·        Must be a team player: Ability to build trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders
·        Organizational skills, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Reporting Skills, Change Management, Supply chain management

 Role and Responsibilities
·        Contributing to creating and implementing long term procurement strategy and advise the cost center owner on annual budgets
·        Managing the existing Supplier base aligned with the purchasing requirement of the organisation
·        Developing new potential suppliers
·        Working closely with local and global stakeholders to ensure procurement as per organisation’s requirement
·        Negotiating prices, achieving defined KPIs considering TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
·        Active Supplier Management (yearly performance ratings, strategic evaluations/segmentation, and development plans for key suppliers)
Additional Notes
·        Experience working under tight deadlines, with financial targets
·        Confidence to work in an environment where instructions are not always provided and own thoughts and ideas are required
·        Effective communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing
·        Ready to be creative and resolve problems on his/her own
·        Must be a team player: Ability to build trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders
·        10% of time available to travel (mainly in India)
