Job Description

Are you an experienced Recruiter seeking a new opportunity that will offer challenging assignments in a dynamic setting? Vistaprint’s largest manufacturing facility in Windsor, Ontario is searching for a high-end recruiter to have full-cycle responsibility for recruiting top talent. In this role, you will be ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience, in a high-volume environment, while solving complex recruitment challenges. 
 
 Your role will involve: 
- Responsibility for the full life-cycle recruiting process including sourcing, screening, conducting behavioural interviews and providing recommendations for entry level, experienced professional, technical, support staff and managerial for North American manufacturing locations
- Partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to determine current and future hiring needs
- Proactively building an ongoing pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and repeat positions to ensure future talent needs are met through sourcing channels, recruitment campaigns, internet searches, networking groups, social media, database search, referrals, and advertising
- Providing training and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment and hiring process, including ensuring a fair and unbiased process, interview techniques and legislation compliance
- Assisting with growing our employment brand and recruiting presence across social media channels
- Participating in occasional job fairs and networking events; identifying new opportunities to connect with candidates
- Negotiating and delivering offers of employment to successful candidates and provide candidate information to Human Resources for new hire set up and processing
- Overseeing the Co-Op program, including posting and interviewing, maintaining strong University partnerships and ensuring an overall positive Co-Op experience during the work term by setting up Leadership Luncheons and other activities
- Responsibility to ensure job descriptions are updated and relevant for all salary level positions
- Supporting the annual performance appraisal process, including sending relevant communications, providing support with the tool and launching forms. 
- Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality in all areas of responsibility
 
In return, you’ll bring:
- Minimum post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, or related field
- 3-5+ years of demonstrable hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods in a fast-paced organization
- Must have a solid, working knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures and applicable legislation as it relates to hiring practices
- In-depth direct sourcing expertise utilizing a range of methods and sources
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint
- Must be able to handle multiple competing priorities and present a polished and professional image to candidates and hiring managers at all times
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
- Enjoy networking and making connections to build a passive candidate pipeline
- Exceptional listening, communication and influencing skills with the ability to work independently
- Highly developed organizational skills, including superior attention to details and accuracy
- Must have a positive demeanor, self-motivated and highly responsive to multiple stakeholder needs
